Knock off cold air or k and n air filter?

I have a 1997 saturn sl2. I was planning on putting an intake on it just to see if anything happened.

I was wondering, which would show a bigger power or fuel economy increse: A knock off ebay cold air intake? Or a stock replacement k & n air filter
It's 20 bucks, I just wanna mess with the car and see if it sounds any better.

If you want the most power, a cold air intake, or CAI will always give you more power than stock. It's dyno proven, but if you do buy the ebay CAI, replace the cheap airfilter that it comes with, and buy a "cone" style K&N filter to put on it. Not only will this give you the most power, its will give you a mean sound.
